Rain Delay
Football plays through almost any weather. But airplanes flying football players can get delayed by weather. Such was the case today. Browns #1 draft pick Phil Taylor was originally scheduled to be in Cleveland for a 2:30 p.m. press conference. Airline delays eventually changed that to 5:15 p.m., which left no time to do the portrait for which I had set up lights. I did get a nice photo of Browns equipment assistant Jim McLaughlin as my test subject!

One of Those Days
Sometimes at a baseball game you seem to get lots of good shots of one player. This was one of those days, and Asdrubal Cabrera was the player.

Back to the ballpark Sunday. Forecast is sunny and 53 degrees!
I hope there's some action like this (from the 2010 opener. I joked that we're not supposed to get opportunities this good that early!)

LAX PIX
Tried my hand at shooting lacrosse yesterday. A friend is the new varsity coach at the high school near us. It was interesting to try a new (for me) sport. I learned quickly to try to look ahead, since if you follow the ball it will quickly be somewhere else!

It Feels More Like Football Weather Here!
I received a request for some Colt McCoy photos today, which had me delve into the football files.
I always enjoy looking for more offbeat football photos. They played a big basketball game here last night! Browns at Houston, New Years Eve, 2006. I made it home in time to stay up with Margot for her first made-it-to midnight year. We were asleep by 12:03 a.m.
And, of course, good football photos can come at any level. Wooster at John Carroll, 2007.
